Far too many times we see customers struggling to install speakers into enclosures using self tapping screws. They work loose, they strip out and even the most experienced installer will have to hold his hands up that at some time in their career they have slipped with the driver and stuck it straight through the cone! Our high quality Spiked nut kit makes that a thing of the past. High tensile plated Hex Head bolts at 60mm length, 5mm diameter and 7.5mm head diameter makes installing even the biggest woofers a cinch. The T Nuts ensure reliable, repeatable de and re installation and torqued up you can be sure that your woofer is not going anywhere. It is possible to use threadlock on this system. We recommend Loctite 243 or standard stud and bearing liquid. These fit perfectly into our SR10 and SR12 trim rings as well as the SPL.1 series, .2 series, .4 series and RED versions. Please note that this product is designed for use in a situation where the baffle plate and speaker have a combined thickness that is at least 40mm and at most 60mm.
