The SPL10.3S –
We have borrowed the motor structure from the SPL12.2 and shoe horned it into the 10 inch chassis resulting in phenomneal performance at an amazing price point. Ideal in both sealed and ported enclosures, it can be run in a compact enclosure for tight accurate bass or a larger ported enclosure, giving higher output potential at the tuning frequency of the cabinet.
We have added a deep bump in the back plate to allow for excellent excursion.
In addition, this S model boasts a super lightweight carbon fibre dustcap, new generation adhesives and revised tinsel wires for yet further improved longevity.
We also offer recone kits which can be used to refurbish worn or burned units, further protecting your investment.
This is the DVC 4 Ohm version.
Version History
The SPL10.3 is a highly developed product, and has incorporated lessons from many earlier versions.Specifically, the SPL10.2 and then the SPL10.3.
The S version is the exact same motor structure and basket assembly as the 10.3. Only the "softparts" are different.
